On behalf of the Communist Party of the Workers of Spain (PCTE), we want to express our sympathy with the Communist Party of India (Marxist) for the murder of comrade Ajoy Mondal, a 52 years old worker, whose corpse was found in a canal after being stabbed in the neck the same day he went to a party meeting.
The PCTE shows its astonishment and its solidarity with the CPI(M) comrades. Spanish communists are aware of the very difficult conditions Indian communists work in, as they are a primary target not only for State repression, but also other parties’ one. The path for building socialism-communism was, is and will always be hard, but we know that workers will lose all the battles but the last one. We hope that our comrades from India will remember cde. Mondal and so many others by keeping up their struggle for socialist liberation.

Statement of the PCTE in solidarity to the CPI(M)
Desde el Partido Comunista de los Trabajadores de España deseamos enviar nuestras condolencias al Partido Comunista de India (Marxista) por el asesinato del camarada Ajoy Mondal, trabajador de 52 años, cuyo cadáver fue encontrado en un canal después de ser apuñalado en el cuello el mismo día que acudió a un mítin del partido.
El PCTE muestra su estupefacción y su solidaridad con los camaradas del PCI(M). Los comunistas españoles somos conscientes de las muy difíciles condiciones en las que trabajan los comunistas indios, blanco habitual de la represión no sólo del Estado sino de otros partidos. El camino en la construcción del socialismo-comunismo siempre fue, es y será duro, pero tenemos claro que los trabajadores perderemos todas las batallas, menos la última. Esperamos que nuestros camaradas de India recuerden al camarada Mondal y tantos otros manteniendo su lucha por la liberación socialista.
